When attending a NARRA event, expect to have a blast while learning about your car and yourself.  Our focus is on safety, instruction and having fun with friends. We guarantee you are sure to leave wanting to visit us again and again....
 
THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT BEGINNER PERFORMANCE DRIVER EDUCATION:
  1. NARRA provides instructors for all Beginner students.  These instructors will be riding in your car with you each and every time you are out on the track.  In addition, there will be classroom instruction for short periods of time each day that will be used to discuss passing zones and other items of interest.
  2. When you arrive at the track, look for the check-in area.  You will meet with a member of our staff and be introduced to the Chief Instructor who will assign you to your own personal instructor based on your experience level and vehicle.  You will also receive number decals for your car that are easily removable after your weekend with us is over (these numbers are required for safety reasons).
  3. After check in, your car must be safety checked.  In order for this to happen, you must have a printed and filled out tech sheet (download here) to hand in to our tech area.  Please come prepared.

SOLO PDE

For our more experienced drivers that have passed thru our (or another organizations) beginner group, we offer the Solo Driving Group. While in this group, you will be driving your own car without an instructor. We understand that there will be times when you would like an instructor for a session or two (if it's a track you've never been to, a new car for you, if you are having issues with a turn, etc...) and we will do our best to accommodate you as needed.
 
THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT SOLO PERFORMANCE DRIVER EDUCATION:
  1. Only experienced drivers are allowed in this group. Since solo (white group) drivers will be generally driving amongst our time trial drivers (but not competing with them) you MUST have road track driving experience to run in this group. Please list your experience when creating your profile.
  2. When you arrive at the track, look for the check-in area. You will receive number decals for your car that are easily removable after your weekend with us is over (these numbers are required for safety reasons). You will also have the opportunity to rent a transponder so that we can time your laps for your own personal records if you desire (not required).

Our education system is progressive; the best and only inclusive way to go from beginner to televised pro racing. Throughout NARRA's history, many of our alumni have achieved impressive goals and have become the icons in our industry. We encourage you to watch the races, talk with participants in all levels (racing, time trial, etc.) and ask as many questions as you like. Our goal is for you to have fun and maybe learn a thing or two while you spend some time with us.
