| So you think you have the stuff of legends? This is the place to test your skill in wheel to wheel racing against the best in the business. The USGTC is the fastest televised open GT sprint series in the US. Produced by Internal Combustion Group hosted by Tom Hnatiw from Dream Car Garage. USGTC has the same HP/Weight rules as USTTC with some added safety equipment and additional driver qualifications. Check out the driver names that know this is the place to race. Time to step up and come to a series that treats everyone equal, we built rules that challenge the engineer and driver to perform. Old or new, factory or garage built the results are up to you. NARRA's previously announced regional tiles will be known as the 'North Cup' and the 'South Cup' and, due to the inclusion of Watkins Glen, will now consist of 3 weekends (6 rounds) each, with a 'worst' round drop. The winner of each class will be determined by the best 5 results of the 6 rounds. All standard USGTC and Whelen USTTC bonus points apply. Both Regional Cups will be awarded in the TT-U, TT-1, TT-2 & TT-3 classes and GT-U, GT-1, GT-2 & GT-3 classes. The trophy presentation will take place at the Sebring Finals weekend. Drivers can only be in the running for one regional title and must elect either South or North prior to starting their first event. National Champions don't qualify for the regional titles. South Cup Feb 15-17 Texas World Speedway - College Station, TX April 12-14 Road Atlanta - Braselton, GA July 12-14 Virginia International Raceway - Alton, VA North Cup May 17-19 Watkins Glen International - Watkins Glen, NY June 7-9 New Jersey Motorsports Park - Millville, NJ Aug 16-18 Pittsburg International Race Complex - Wampum, PA Drivers contesting any 4 or more weekends (or 8 rounds) plus the November Finals Weekend at Sebring International Raceway are automatically eligible for the National Championship. The Pirelli 'DH' Slick (Hard Compound) is now the spec tire for the USGTC and SRT Viper Cup. Tires must be purchased from JX2 Performance Group. (They will be marked) Please pre-order tires at least 2 weeks prior to event to ensure availability at track. A tire of a particular width will fit a number of wheel widths. If your current tire width isn't listed, this doesn't mean there isn't an available tire. The following guides and the Pirelli Website can be used for reference. . A one event dispensation will be given to any new USGTC or SRT Cup competitors. Many of NARRA's rules and racing regulations for the 2013 season have been updated. Teamtech Safety Equipment National Champions will receive a Teamtech 6-Point Camlock Harness Eligible Classes GT-3, GT-2, GT-1, GT-U TT-3, TT-2, TT-1, TT-U Teamtech Decals must be displayed on both sides of car with no competitor decals GoPro National Champions will receive a GoPro Hero Camera Eligible Classes GT-3, GT-2, GT-1, GT-U TT-3, TT-2, TT-1, TT-U GoPro Decals must be displayed on both sides of car with no competitor decals JX2 Pirelli Tire Round winners will be awarded free Pirelli Tires by JX2 Eligible Classes TT-3, TT-2, TT-1, TT-U 2 tires for 1st place provided 2 or more cars compete in class 1 tire for 2nd place provided 5 or more cars compete in class This contingency is per round, meaning up to 24 tires can be won each weekend 10 bonus Championship points to all competitors using Pirelli Tires supplied by JX2 Contingency retroactive to Texas World Speedway event regardless of tire run See point #11 for contingency winners from Texas. 18 tires were won in total!
