In GT2, the Chuck Quinton and Victor Caldarelli battle will be great to watch after the tight competition the duo had a few weeks ago at WGI. Will it be the power of the Ferrari or the Viper that proves dominant at VIR?

Montour would come away with more points, but Faessler made his presence known by storming through the field in a car that is still being developed. This weekend for NARRA included some off-track activity in the form of a private tour of a local motorsport history facility. The event was crowned by an address and lesson on the center by Mr. J.C. Aretsinger himself.

When Saturday competition began, the GT class took to this historic track under cloudless sunny skies. When the overnight shipping viagra checkered flag came out at the end of Round 3, driver Steve Loudin (Tricel Honeycomb 007 Comp Coupe) was the winner in GT1. Russ Oasis (PartsRack, VERT, Dodge Viper Comp Coupe) and Tom Atherton (Dodge Viper ACR-X) completed an all Viper podium. Loudin had the best overall lap with a 1:59.457. As a result, all three drivers are eligible for contingency payouts from Mopar / Dodge.

In GT2, Victor Caldarelli Jr. (#93 Lintz Collision Viper GTS) and Chuck Quinton (RotarySwing.com Ferrari 360 Challenge) had an amazing battle for the top step. Caldarelli kept the Viper ahead of the Ferrari and www.bsd-berlin.de was victorious in the GT2 class. Caldarelli, however, would be penalized after a review of the race and the result gave Quinton an advantage in points for the day. The win still stands and Caldarelli has the trophy to add to super active cialis 20mg his collection.

Driver Zach Davis (Simgear.com Corvette Z06) stayed ahead of John Walczak (CorningData.com Lotus Exige S Cup) to take the GT3 win. Davis was even putting pressure on the GT2 cars during the race.

Brian Faessler (#18 Paul’s Automotive Ford Mustang) charged through the field from the back of how does viagra work the starting grid to post an impressive P2. Third place finisher Marc Montour (#27 Nord Quest Climatization, Lebon, and Montour Ltd. Viper Comp Coupe)  was disqualified after the race and handed the www.austinjbn.org position to Tom Antonelli (Chicago All Fleet Dodge Viper Comp Coupe).

Saturday’s USPC championship was tightly contested with all cars on track in the PR1 class. This was the first competition race ever for the newest NARRA driver, Naris Nilubol (#49 Young Racing Stohr WF1). The fastest lap was achieved by race winner Robert Alon (#00 Professional Security Consultants DPO2 Elan) with a very quick 1:45.393. Austin Versteeg (#16 K1 Elan DP02) crossed the line in P2, only a few secinds behind.  Joel Janco (#25 DeathToLionfish.org Elan DP02) would battle back from damaging his car during qualifying and earn the third podium spot.

Sunday’s Round 4 began under a veil of fog, which quickly burned off giving way for a sunny and very warm day.

The GTU class had an eventful race with Faessler quickly working up through the field to finish in P2 after a fantastic start when the green flag flew. He was unable to run down race winner L.P. Montour running who was once again the overall race winner. Antonelli, despite experiencing difficulty from a piece of debris which attached itself to his wheel that caused the car to shake violently, finished in P3.

GT1 was again hotly contested between Loudin and Oasis. Loudin stayed ahead of Oasis and took the win posting a best lap of 1:59.402.

The GT2 class saw Quinton heading to purchase levitra soft tabs pits early with transmission issues. The USPC race was the final event of the weekend and provided some of the best racing from any series. With a fully stocked PR1 class, the stage was set for some very fast laps. Janco had fully recovered from some contact on Saturday and was ready to charge. The earlier qualifying times put Alon on pole with Versteeg in second. This is how they would stay for the duration of the race and it appeared as if the two were connected by a string. Versteeg could close the gap in the bus stop but Alon was faster down the straights. With incredibly close lap times, Alon crossed the line first, but with Versteeg only .677 behind.

After scoring well at Watkins Glen International, Tom Antonelli is leading the way in the overall USGT championship and the class title. We certainly expect to see Antonelli there to defend his position. The Whelen US Time Trial championship shows Phil Grabow ahead in TT2 and in the overall championship. He has his work cut out for him after the mechanical problems he faced this past weekend.  The USPC Championship will be decided at VIR in the series final two rounds. Despite not earning a podium this past weekend, PR1 class leader Jim Garrett is on top of the leader board for the class and the overall championship.
