The Whelen US Time Trial (USTT) is a great place to take your driving to only best offers levitra for cheap canadian pharmacy the next level if you already have a number of driver education or track day events in your résumé. Our TT is open to street cars. You don't have to have a roll cage, but you do have to have the required driver safety gear. USTT has 3 to 4 competition sessions per day. If you are looking for wheel to wheel racing within NARRA, the US GT is open to all fully prepared GT race cars. Drivers must hold a current race license from a recognized sanctioning body. The USGT competition day format is typically a warm-up, followed by a qualifier and a sprint length of around 30 minutes. There is one practice, qualifier, and race on Saturday and one practice, qualifier, and race on Sunday.


For both groups, Friday is an optional practice day, meaning a driver does not have to practice on Friday to race the weekend; however, it certainly helps someone get familiar with our series and operations. The GT weekend starts at $800 and can vary depending on practice and a few other options.


Both USGT and USTT have 4 classes based on power to weight, so even if a driver has prepared a car for another series, there's a good chance that we have a class in which it fits. The classes are Unlimited which is anything under a 6.25:1 power to weight. GT/TT - 1 are cars 6.25:1 and greater. GT/TT - 2 are cars 7.50:1 and greater. GT/TT - 3 are cars 8.75:1 and greater. A typical field in the USGT includes cars such as the Dodge Viper, Chevrolet Corvette, Ford Mustang and other high-end GT cars. The USTT grid is comprised of some of those same types of cars, but expands to include tuned Subaru’s, Mitsubishi and more. Hoosier Racing Tire is the spec tire for all classes and it must come from our supplier or be purchased from the support truck at the event. If someone is participating in their first ever NARRA event elects to race on an alternate tire, they are permitted to compete, but no points towards the championship are awarded.


The remaining schedule after Mid-Ohio includes two events at Pittsburgh International Race Complex and New Jersey Motorsports Park. So there are four events all within a days’ drive from one another!

Dodge Motorsports South Grand Prix of VIR a Huge Success


The DMS South Grand Prix of VIRginia International Raceway, June 5th-June 7th, Rounds 5 and 6 of the NARRA USGT, USPC, and Whelen TT Championships showcased some great racing as well as the return of cheap viagra order the Viper Days Performance Drivers Education.  The weekend was capped off with a new TT1 VIR lap record being laid down by Rick MacPherson guided by driver coach, Derek Eastty, the return to the top of the podium for Mike Hartley, and the crowning of our USPC Champion for 2015. This amazing weekend was capped of by the return to the track by the one and only Sonny Whelen. Fast laps were achieved in GT1 by Frank Lussier in the his NFS Autosport Dodge Viper Comp Coupe (1:55.478), GT2 by Victor Caldarelli Jr. in the 93 Lintz Collision Viper GTS (2:01.372), GT3 by Zach Davis in his Corvette Z06 (2:06.685), and GTU by Jim Stout in the Viper Comp Coupe (1:55.668). Saturday’s PC class saw a very tight start with cars stringing out over a 16 lap race but coming together for one of the most exciting wins of the weekend. Naris Nilubol and Bob Wheless saw engine troubles leaving them in pit lane to watching the field battle it out. Chuck Quinton made a strong showing in PR3 with a rented Radical SR3 turning a 1:57.911 for first in class. However Jim Garrett made a thrilling last lap charge after Jim Booth to take the overall race win and first in PR1.


Rick MacPherson in his TopSpeed Motorsports Nissan GTR won the Whelen Time Trials, on Saturday with a fast lap of 1:53.939 in session 4, also good for the TT1 class win. Sunday saw the continuation of the improbable sun and heat making for a perfect race day.  The Prototype class drivers took to the track for the last chance at the overall USPC series wins. Sunday’s USGT race was exciting from the moment that the green flag dropped. As Hartley and Lussier approached the line and the green dropped, Lussier jumped on the gas a touch too hard, spinning the tires and viagra to buy giving the advantage to Hartley. Lussier would keep Hartely within eyesight but never managing get to the bumper to make a move. Booth continued his Iron Man weekend by posting a 1:56.314 and the win in GT1. Davis would repeat his Saturday victory with a win in GT3 on Sunday and Caldarelli would do the same in GT2.


During the Whelen Time Trials on Sunday, MacPherson delivered what he was looking for on Saturday. Conditions seemed just right for him and his driver coach, Derek Eastty to set the GTR up for the best TT lap of the weekend. His lap of 1:53.773 would be good enough for the TT1 win for the day, Time Trial overall for the weekend, and most impressively, a NARRA Whelen TT1 VIR track record! Husband and wife duo of Richard Sewell and Beth Sewell would round out TT1 in their Dodge Vipers. Paul Koczkur in a Dodge Viper SRT10 with a 2:39.807 would champion TT2. The Saturday  TT3 class introduced a new driver to purchase levitra soft tabs competition. Justin Price in his Porsche 911 GTS would step up and take the leap from Viper Days 2.0 PDE to TT posting a 2:16.611 and a win for the class. Racing in the NARRA USGT and Whelen TT classes continues at the formidable Mid-Ohio Race Course over the weekend of July 3rd through the 5th. Mid-Ohio is the second stop for the Great Lakes Cup and will likely see the return of Brian Faessler to Whelen Time Trials to challenge MacPherson.
